Katrina Fernandez joined the management team at Royal Oaks Country Club as Catering & Events Director in August of 2011. Katrina’s career with Royal Oaks began in November of 2010, when she was hired as the Catering & Events Assistant. Prior to her time with Royal Oaks, Katrina assisted with event planning at Lakeside Country Club, where she gained years of catering and country club experience. Katrina is a recent graduate of the University of Houston, where she focused on business administration and the arts. Her parents were born in Cuba, and Katrina and her three other siblings are first generation Houstonians. In her spare time, she loves to hang out with her family and friends and hopes to one day have a family of her own. Katrina has a keen eye for fashion and design and enjoys shopping every opportunity she gets!

Graham House

As Assistant General Manager of Royal Oaks Country Club, Graham oversees the operations for food and beverage, housekeeping and engineering. Since joining Royal Oaks Country Club in 2005, Graham has been very involved with the House, Social and Wine Committee in giving guidance and stewardship. Prior to joining Royal Oaks Country Club, Graham was with ClubCorp serving 25 years in a variety of roles. He left the club business to pursue an education in Commercial Art. While completing school, Graham returned to the club business at nights as a busboy at the Lafayette Club in Lexington, Ky. Within a year he was the Maitre’d and the lifelong passion for the club business began. Graham is a member of Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), Conferie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs and National Association of Catering Directors. During his free time Graham loves spending time boating with his daughters.

Jae Mackenzie

Jae brings a wealth of knowledge and country club experience to Royal Oaks. He is a graduate from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and also did an externship in Marseilles, France. Jae has spent the last 10 years at the Old Overton Club in Birmingham, AL and it was here at the Old Overton Club, where Jae discovered the joys of cooking within the country club atmosphere. Not only is he able to do what he loves, but he is able to develop relationships with those whom he serves on a daily basis. It is a facet of the culinary industry he has come to love and enjoy and is now looking forward to continuing at Royal Oaks. Jae is bringing his wife Charity and two sons Owen and Rhodes with him to Royal Oaks.

Charles Roberts

Charles began his career at Royal Oaks in June of 2010 as a Service Captain before being promoted to Dining Room Manager. Though this is the first Country Club that Charles has been a part of, he brings a great wealth of experience to the position. After graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in economics, Charles helped open the Westin Hotel & Resort St. John in the Virgin Islands. He later moved to Omni Hotels as the Director of Restaurants, Hyatt as Assistant Food & Beverage Director, and Sheraton's Food & Beverage department before joining the ROCC team. In his spare time, Charles enjoys hunting, photography, and spending time with his family. He says his favorite part of Royal Oaks is seeing the Members each day and estabilishing connections with them. Charles's life philosophy is the Golden Rule: treat others as you would want to be treated.
